Day wise Itinerary
DAY 1 Bagdogra – Gangtok (125 kms/5 hrs)
Upon your arrival, you would be greeted by a LeisureTravelTrails representative and transferred from the Bagdogra airport to the hotel.
DAY 2 Gangtok – Changu Lake Excursion – Gangtok
In the morning, go for a full day excursion to Changu Lake which is 35 Kms from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet. Also, visit New Baba Mandir. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 3 Gangtok – Lachung (117 kms/7 hrs)
In the morning, drive to Lachung. En route, visit various villages and water falls. Stay overnight at the hotel.
DAY 4 Lachung – Yumthang – Lachung – Gangtok
In the morning, you would head out for an excursion to the Yumthang Valley & Hot Spring. Later, drive back to Gangtok. Arrive in Gangtok by late evening. Stay overnight at hotel.
DAY 5 Gangtok – Pelling Via Namchi
In the morning, you would be driven from Gangtok to Pelling Via Namchi. Visit the Char Dham & Sandruptse Statue. Later, enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 6 Morning half day Pelling Sightseeing. Afternoon drive to Darjeeling (110 Kms/4 Hrs
Today, in the morning, you would proceed for a half-day city tour visiting the Rambi Waterfall, Darap Village, Khechipalri Lake, Kanchenjunga Fall and Rock Garden. Later, you would be driven to Darjeeling for an overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 7 Darjeeling sightseeing
Early in the morning (approx 4 am), visit the Tiger Hill to see the sun rise over Mount Everest, Ghoom Monastery & Batasia Loop. Later, head back to the hotel for breakfast. Next, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute & Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zooogical Park (closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock, Tea Estate (from outside), Japanese Temple, and Peace Pagoda. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 8 Mirik Lake Excursion
Today, head out for a full day excursion to Mirik, where you would visit the Mirik Lake & Pashupati Market (Nepal Border).
DAY 9 Darjeeling – Bagdogra (93 km/ 3 hrs)
In the morning, you would be driven to Bagdogra in time for flight back home.
